On the first cold day of the year, I met up with Megan and Sam for their engagement session in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO a few hours before sunset. We had so much fun walking around the historic neighborhood and talking about their wedding at Cedar Lakes Estates in a few short months! Megan and Sam are the sweetest and kindest couple and it's no wonder there was non-stop laughing throughout our entire engagement session. Their wedding cannot get here fast enough and I'm thrilled to share a few of my favorite photos from their romantic brooklyn engagement session. Yay!!
What happens when you wake up super early and head to Brooklyn Bridge Park on a Sunday? You get the place all to yourself! I'm so excited to share a few of my favorite images from Kate and Zach's sun drenched brooklyn bridge park engagement session. We had perfect blue skies and an abundance of light pouring down on us which help create these timeless photos. Kate and Zach made each other laugh and smile the entire time and I cannot wait to see them again in the Fall for their wedding at their families private estate. It's going to be stunning! xo
I'm so excited to share that Erica and Dan's gorgeous wedding at The River Cafe in Brooklyn was featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs! xo
A few years ago, Erica and Dan moved to Los Angeles but when it came time to plan their perfect wedding, there was no place like home. They wanted to throw the ultimate New York City wedding and what could be a more iconic venue than The River Cafe in Brooklyn? With its sweeping views of the city and a menu to die for, this is where they wanted to celebrate their marriage. Erica looked absolutely stunning in her lace Monique Lhullier wedding gown adorned with a crystal encrusted belt and Jimmy Choo shoes. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous navy Jenny Yoo dresses and they all carried bright, colorful bouquets from Violet and Verde. I was so excited that they hired a vintage yellow taxi cab to take them around Brooklyn for their portraits - we literally stopped traffic in Dumbo!
Taxi's were also the theme for their escort cards, favors and menus. Their intimate outdoor ceremony was full of love and laughter as the officiant had everyone rolling in their seats, which is exactly what the happy couple wanted. The newlyweds danced the night away with sounds of Eric Nichols Band throughout the reception. I even snuck them outside to take a few night photos on the pier with the glowing Brooklyn Bridge in the background. The ladies of Blush Events really helped to keep Erica and Dan's wedding day running smoothly. I absolutely loved working with their amazing team of planners and highly recommend them for all my sweet couples! I'm so honored I could be part of Erica and Dan's amazing wedding day and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness! Congratulations newlyweds!
