On a bright sunny morning in Brooklyn Heights, I met up with Claire & Adam again to take a few more photos for their engagement session. They wanted to take a few photos in their new brooklyn neighborhood. The light was dreamy, bright and created the perfect backdrop for a sun-drenched morning engagement session to die for. Could these two be any sweeter?!
Sometimes you just need a little help to make a big idea happen. Last spring, I met up with Thea, from Hushed Commotion, and over the course of our cocktails, an idea was born to collaborate on styled shoot all about the After Party. What do the bride & groom do after the wedding with their closest friends? Celebrate, of course! Thea and I wanted to show a different side of the wedding and create a dreamy styled shoot. We wanted the colors to be soft, pretty and romantic with a bit of french flair. I could have never of dreamed that so many amazing wedding vendors would collaborate to our little idea and make it a big reality.
We shot our styled shoot at the brand new 501 Union space in Brooklyn. It's modern, classic and romantic all at the same time. Michelle Edgemont created our ceremony backdrop and styled our entire shoot. Lindsay Rae Designs floral arrangements and wedding bouquets take my breath away each time I look at the photos. Patricia of Fourteen-Forty hand crafted the stationery suite with gold leaf accents & Saucy by Nature dreamt up a menu that was truly drool worthy. Ninecakes created our sweet wedding cake. Styles on B & and Face the day NY made our models looks absolutely gorgeous. Brege (our gorgeous model) looked radiant in her Rebecca Schoneveld tiered wedding gown that comes apart to reveal a sweet cocktail dress. The perfect after party dress if you ask me! Courtney from Love + Brain films captured a wonderful behind the scenes video that you can watch here or at the bottom of this post. Thank you to all our amazing wedding vendors & collaborators who helped make our After-Party a true celebration! xo, Jainé

I'm so delighted to share Amanda & Pablo's gorgeous Brooklyn wedding from last Fall. The couple wanted every bit of their casual but elegant wedding to be Brooklyn based including the location, decor and wedding vendors. The modern Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg was a perfect venue to celebrate their marriage with their family & friends. Amanda absolutely glowed in her gorgeous Saja Wedding gown and veil from Yestadt Millinery which was a wedding gift from the designer. Seriously, how stunning does she look? Oh, and her flowers from Sprout Home are simply amazing! Guests tearfully witnessed Amanda & Pablo read their vows aloud at the Causey Contemporary art gallery before heading over to the Wythe Hotel to enjoy their reception. The newlyweds danced to standard classics sung by Tara O'Grady and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by the Wythe's Head Chef. Amanda & Pablo are one of the nicest and most sincere couples I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The love they share and happiness they bring to each other is what weddings are all about. I'm thrilled I could be there with them on their special day. Congratulations Amanda & Pablo!
