NYC Highline Engagement Session Photos

On a perfect Summer day, I met up with Natasha and Aneil to capture their engagement session on New York City's Highline and Meatpacking District. The bright blue skies and cool breeze made an August day in the city enjoyable. As we strolled through the highline, tourists and travelers wished them congratulations throughout our walk down the highline which was so much fun! I'm excited to share a few of my favorite engagement photos and I can't wait for their wedding this Fall at the Essex House in Manhattan. Enjoy! xo

Brooklyn Bridge Engagement Session Photos

On a bright Fall morning, I met Cara and Rob at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge for their engagement session. Cara told me over the phone that her and Rob don't really do "casual" so when she showed up in an adorable blush colored tutu, I was super excited! Aren't they the sweetest?

We walked around DUMBO, visited the Brooklyn Bridge before heading over to the Manhattan to end their engagement session in the West Village. The happy couple are getting married in South Carolina and wanted their engagement photos to be in the city where they fell in love. They love to laugh and make each other smile which clearly comes out in their gorgeous photos. I'm so thrilled I could be part of their love story and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!

A Bright Morning Engagement Session in Central Park

What happens when you visit Central Park early in the morning on a gorgeous Summer day? You practically get the place all to yourself! Crystal and Thomas travel to New York once a year and wanted to incorporate their favorite city into their engagement session. We walked through the park astounded by its beauty and the quiet. The lack of crowds really gave us room to explore and play in the park. How adorable is Crystal's pride and prejudice clutch? Love! It was such a treat photographing this sweet couple for their engagement photos and thrilled to be part of their New York love story. Congratulations Crystal and Thomas!

Hoboken Engagement Session Photos

I had such a wonderful time spending the morning with Katie and Jeff for their engagement session in Hoboken. We took full advantage of the beautiful light as we visited a few of their favorite locations in the neighborhood. We walked along Hoboken's piers, stopped at few brownstones and ended on a sweet note at Schnackenberg's, a vintage inspired ice cream shop. The milkshakes are so good! Katie and Jeff are such a sweet couple and were beaming from ear to ear. Seriously, their laughter is contagious! Of course, I was swooning over Katie's super fun Jessica Simpson shoes and Jeff went for a relaxed look in his favorite Vineyard Vines striped blue shirt. I'm so excited to be part of their wedding that's just a few short months away at The Ryland Inn . Hooray!

Central Park and West Village Engagement Photos

One night during a cocktail party at a mutual friends house, Peter was introduced to Esther. He was head over heels with Esther. After a few weeks of getting to know one another, photos began to appear on facebook of them together. So, it was official, they were a couple! For their engagement session, we visited New York City's iconic West Village before heading up to Central Park. Even though it was a crowded summer morning, we managed to find a few hidden spots all to ourselves. I love capturing the sweet in-between moments these two share, a single glance, a small smile and all the happiness that shines through. Oh, and I absolutely love Esther's impeccable style which is why she works in the fashion industry. Wait till you see her custom designed wedding dress!
