When you live in New York City, you tend to not do a lot of touristy things or visit too many famous places because well, it's always crowded. I've lived in New York all of my life (minus my few months in Hong Kong) and have never visited Top of The Rock at Rockefeller Center until Asher and David's anniversary session. Boy, was I missing out! The sweeping city views were absolutely breathtaking! When my good friend Asher asked me to photograph her 5 year wedding anniversary session with her husband David, I was completely honored.
Asher is a wedding photographer as well and it's always an honor when another photographer asks you to photograph them. We woke up with sun and visited the famous steps of The Metropolitan Museum of Art before heading to Top of The Rock before it opened. There was already a line by 8 am so if you plan on visiting, get there early! Asher rented a stunning red dress (by my prompting!) from the Rent The Runway because red on film is absolutely incredible. So vibrant and magical if you ask me! Happy 5 years to Asher and David!
