Lifestyle Newborn Session Photos in New York City

One of the greatest joys of my life was becoming a mother. Being able to create life and then take care of baby will forever change any women. One of the side benefits to being a mom myself is that I have a lot more empathy for new moms and totally understand what they are going through which makes my in home newborn sessions very relaxed. We go slow with the session and take time whenever the baby needs a break, a nap, and of course, a meal.

I am so happy that I can continue to document my couples lives throughout their own journeys into parenthood. It's truly a miracle and I'm so happy to be able to offer my photography services and be part of their lives for many years to come. Here are a few favorites from my sweet couples in home newborn session in their sun drenched home. The light was perfect and their daughter is just the sweetest. Enjoy! xo

Central Park Engagement Photos at Sunrise in New York City

Getting up early at sunrise to head to Central Park from Brooklyn is definitely a no short trek into Manhattan but each time I arrive, I'm reminded as to why it's worth it. No one is there and you have the biggest park in New York City all to yourself. In other words, it's magical!

I am so excited to share a few of my favorite photos from Elyisha and Nadeem's sunrise engagement photos in Central Park from this past Fall. The sun was slow to rise but once she was out, we had a blast taking full advantage on the Bow Bridge and in front of The Boathouse Restaurant in the middle of the park. These two are the sweetest couple and I cannot wait for their epic two-day wedding this Summer at The Park Chateau in New Jersey. Enjoy! xo

Gurney's Star Island Wedding Photos in Montauk, NY

From the very minute I met Megan and Dave, I knew we were going to have the best time together. They are so in love, so giving, and caring that it was a match made in heaven. We had the best time during their engagement session and the fun continued well into their wedding day at Gurney's Star Island (formerly the Montauk Yacht Club) in Montauk, NY. The couple spent many summers out in the Hamptons and Montauk was the only place they wanted to get married.

Megan wore a breathtaking mermaid wedding dress from Monique Lhuillier and nude, crystal studded Christian Louboutin flats. Pinned to Megan's wedding bouquet was her brother's U.S. Army tag because he is on active duty servicing our country and unable to make it back to the states on leave. This was Megan's way of having him with her on her wedding day which was incredibly touching. We thank him for his service for protecting our country! Dave looked ever so handsome in his tuxedo from The Black Tux. The couple got married at  St. Therese in Montauk before we were whisked away to the Montauk Lighthouse for their bridal party photos and bride and groom portraits. The weather was supposed be clear but some how the rain showed up just as we got to the Lighthouse so we powered through the rain and took as many photos as we could before returning to Gurney's Star Island Resort  to take some fun bridal party photos in the iconic Turtle Room. It was a blast to have their closest friends pop open a can of their favorite beer from Montauk Brewery and cheers the happy couple!

The night was filled with so many wonderful and touching speeches, dances, and heartfelt happiness. It was a joy to photograph and document their wedding day!! I'm so honored to have been part of their love story and can't wait to see what life has in store for this amazing couple. Congratulations Newlyweds!! xo

Riverside Park Engagement Photos in New York City

I'm so excited Katie and Harry's engagement photos in the iconic Riverside Park on the Upper West Side in New York City. This park is very special to the happy couple as they spent lots of time together reading books in the park while they were dating before they got engaged.

Also, You've Got Mail is one of Katie's favorite movies and The 91st Street Garden is where the iconic scene at the end of the movie takes place. The public garden is incredible and was in full bloom when we visited during their engagement session. They are the sweetest couple and I cannot wait until their wedding this Summer at The Foundry in Long Island City. xo!
