I'm so beyond excited to share that Megan and Sam's incredible wedding at Cedar Lakes Estates was recently featured on Style Me Pretty's FRONT PAGE!!!! First of all, I'm so happy that Style Me Pretty is still around and able to feature my photography but I'm also excited that one of my favorite couples was selected to be on their FRONT PAGE!! It was an amazing wedding weekend in Port Jervis, NY and so happy that so many talented wedding vendors get to be celebrated as well. I loved working with Kelly and Taylor from Socialife Wedding and Events, Faye and Renee Floral and Event Designs, everyone at Cedar Lakes Estates, and so many more! xo
I'm SO excited and thrilled to share that Rachel and Adam's stunning wedding in Lake George was featured on BRIDES!! You can see more images from their picture perfect wedding day here. A huge shout out to all the incredible wedding vendors who helped bring their vision to life - Katie O. Weddings and Events, Wiawaka Holiday House, Ink Revival, and Olive & June Floral Co. and so many more!! xo - Jaine
I'm delighted to share that I was recently named one of NYC's Best Wedding Photographers by Shutterfly!! I was also recently featured in two Martha Stewart Weddings online gallery features. The first was for 20 Bold Ideas for Red Wedding Color Palette and the second for Nautical Invitations Perfect for Waterfront Weddings.
As a native New Yorker, I cannot believe that my very first visit to Lake George was this year for Rachel and Adam's wedding at Wiawaka Holiday House. I have to say that it was love at first sight and I'm totally obsessed with Lake George!! The happy couple had the best weather for their three-day wedding celebration and I'm so honored I was there to capture all their happy moments! Rachel looked absolutely radiant in her Sarah Seven wedding dress and Carol Hannah Tulle Skirt. She added it for a bit more flair and fun for their actual ceremony. Adam was in complete awe of his bride-to-be during their first look which was so sweet!
Love is on Lake George showed up during the couples portraits to take us for a quick boat ride along Lake George before their sunset ceremony began. It was truly magical when the Minna Ha Ha pumped it horn and wished the happy couple congratulations during their vows! The Bride is from New Orleans so they added a bit of southern charm to their wedding with Hudson Horns brass band during cocktail hour and a Second Line up the mountain to their reception tent.
Before the couples cake cutting, a fireworks show was held across the lake for everyone's enjoyment. It was a surprise show for everyone!! Katie O. Weddings & Events did an amazing job coordinating their wedding and keeping everything on time. I was completely obsessed with Ink Revival's wedding invitations and Olive & June's Floral Co. wedding bouquet and arrangements for Rachel and Adam's wedding day. It was a wonderful weekend for the perfect couple and I'm so honored to have been there for them!I have been waiting MONTHS to share Rachel and Adam's gorgeous wedding at Lake George because it was just featured on BRIDES!! Congratulations to the happy couple!! xo

One of the best perks about being a wedding photographer is that you get to meet incredible couples and if you are lucky, they will continue to ask you to document the milestones in their lives. I'm so excited and honored to capture Dani & Will's maternity session in Prospect Park. I photographed their engagement session over 4 years ago and so thrilled to be part of the next journey in their lives, their path to parenthood. I cannot wait to meet their little guy once he arrives this Fall!
When my good friend Jee of Blush Design New York announced that she was expecting her first baby I was overjoyed with excitement for her. I've known Jee ever since we worked together at the DeSeversky Mansion for a stunning wedding. Her peony and lilac wedding bouquet is one of my most pinned and requested photos for publication ever! We've worked on several more weddings and have built a true friendship so it was my complete honor to capture her newborn photos in her home in Fort Green Brooklyn. It was a delight to meet her baby girl, husband and of course, Lucy her adorable dog. Thank you Jee for having me capture this special time in your lives and cannot wait to watch your daughter grow up! xo
Well, it’s true what they say, what you put out into the world comes back to you and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be sharing such an exciting announcement. I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’m teaching my very first class (ever) at WRKSHP workshop this November in Brooklyn!! My film lab, Indie Film Lab, is a sponsor of WRKSHP and asked me to teach an intro to film photography “mini” course during the three day workshop on November 2nd - 5th 2018 at 501 Union in Brooklyn, NY. I nearly fell off my chair when I read the message from Josh!!
I have been using Indie Film Lab to process and scan my film for the last 6+ years and so honored they asked me to speak on their behalf. Can you guys believe this? I’m SO SO excited and thrilled to be included in the impressive line up of speakers they have scheduled to educate and help photographers. It’s going to be so so amazing!! For those of you who are interested in learning how to add film to your wedding photography, what questions do you have? I’d love to hear directly from you so I can create my course based on your questions. Please leave them in the comments below or you can send me an email. I'd love to hear from you! You can still sign up and attend WRKSHP by purchasing your tickets here. You get to pick and choose which teachers you’d like to learn from and I hope to see you there. Oh, and please be sure to say hello! xo - Jainé
It's always exciting to see your work published online. Sue and Chris' wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden was recently featured on Style Me Pretty! xo
Rain was looming the morning of Colleen and Andrew's engagement session at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. I'm happy to say that we beat the rain (yay!) just in time and had so much fun exploring prospect park together before everyone else was awake. We visited the beautiful Prospect Park Boathouse and one of my favorite spots by the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, where all the turtles come out to sunbathe. It's adorable! Colleen and Andrew are the sweetest and so much fun to be around. I absolutely loved getting a chance to spend time with them before their wedding at Brooklyn Winery this Fall. It's going to be so romantic - I cannot wait! Here are some of my favorite images from their gorgeously green engagement session. xo
