I'm so delighted to share a few of my favorite photos from Perry's newborn session with his wonderful parents at their home in Brooklyn. We spent the morning together taking photos between naps and feedings. Perry is just the sweetest little boy ever! I'm so honored I was able to capture this adorable little guy just about five weeks after his arrival. Meet Perry! xo
The sweet unknown while you wait for your baby to arrive is such an exciting time. You can't help but wonder when will they arrive, who will they look like and what is it really like becoming a parent? Well, each new expecting parent will soon have all those answers once their little bundle of joy arrives. I absolutely loved capturing Kailey and Drew's in-home maternity session at their apartment in Brooklyn. The morning light is my favorite time of day to capture these moments and their apartment was sun-drenched at just the right time. I cannot wait to meet their little guy and document this new family from the very beginning. xo
Becoming a mother is a true gift and being able to capture it, is and even bigger one. Erin is a wedding designer whom I've had the pleasure of collaborating with over the years and overtime, we've become friends. I was so honored when she asked me to capture her journey to motherhood. I photographed the parents-to-be in their home in New York City on a bright sunny morning. Their apartment was flooded with warm natural light and the soft grey, blue and blush tones brought the session together. I'm so delighted to share a few of my favorite photos and cannot wait to meet their baby boy soon! xo
I'm so delighted that Amanda and Matt's newborn session is featured on Ruffled! Amanda is the editor & creator of Ruffled (one of my favorite wedding blogs!) and I was so honored she asked me to capture their family a few days after their new baby girl arrived. I take a limited number of maternity & newborn sessions a year and this is one of my favorites! xo, Jainé
Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of being apart of Alexandra's 100th day celebration. It's a Korean tradition called Baek-il where the family gathers to celebrate the 100th day of a new born babies life with a party! Well, I like the sound of that! Alexandra's mother pulled out the stops with her decorations. Aren't they adorable? If this is her 100th day celebration, I can't wait to see her 1st birthday! Here are just a few of my favorite photos. Happy 100th day Alexandra!
