Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club Wedding Photos

Weather can always be unpredictable but you hope the forecast is accurate, especially for your wedding day. Meredith and Tyler's day started out with the tail winds of a remaining hurricane which soon lead to grey skies and finally perfectly blue skies just in time for their outdoor beach ceremony at the incredible Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. It was Meredith's dream come true to marry Tyler, her soulmate, on the beach in front of their closest family and friends and luckily, the weather cooperated!

Nestled away on the private beaches in the Hamptons, guests were treated to a breathtaking sunset as Meredith and Tyler said their vows with the ocean waves directly behind them. The bride wore an absolutely drool worthy wedding gown by Mira Zwillinger which literally took my breath away. Never had a bride looked more radiant than Meredith in that dress! For their beach ceremony, Wildflower Floral Events created a one-of-a-kind crescent moon shape alter that was decorated with wild weeds and white roses to perfectly framed the couple. Their reception was one for the books!

The Sugar Lane Band from Hank Lane had everyone out of their seats the entire time. Literally, no one sat down the entire reception! Well, maybe to eat their dinner or to rub their sore feet :) Lovely Indeed Events was there to help coordinate their wedding day and make sure everyone was having a blast! Meredith and Tyler are really the perfect couple. They are incredibly kind, loving and super fun to be around. Their love is palpable when you are with them and it makes me so happy that they found me and asked me to document their perfect wedding day.

Blush and Gold Wedding at The Montauk Yacht Club

Summer weddings out in Montauk are my absolutely favorite! The warm air, blue skies and all the flowers seem to be in bloom. For Annie and Sam, The Montauk Yacht Club was the perfect venue for their blush and gold inspired wedding in the Hamptons. Annie wore a breathtaking layered wedding dress from Lazzaro. Lots of layers of tulle with a lace bodice and removable lace straps fit her perfectly. The bride wore a small scissor pendant bracelet on her wedding day in loving memory of her grandmother who was a seamstress. Annie loves everything pink so it was only fitting to have pink accents throughout their entire wedding day. From her heart printed heels, pink invitations, floral printed bridesmaids dresses, and down to their pink signature cocktail, the happy couple left no detail to chance. Sam wore a tuxedo with a black and white polka dotted bow tie.

The couple were married at St. Therese church in the heart of Montauk before heading over to the Montauk Yacht Club. Annie hand painted the lobster inspired corn hole games and lobster photo booth props for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Their reception room was filled with a warm white glow to give a white wash effect inside the Farm Ballroom. Pink, coral and white centerpieces with mirrored vases decorated the two long tables. The couple loves the beach so it's no surprise it was a big inspiration for their wedding day. Pieces of beechwood were used as their table numbers and coral accents decorated their seating chart. Annie's mom even surprised the couple with a visit from a John Travolta impersonator who sang three Grease songs and made all the guys do the hand jive. It was awesome! I'm so honored I was part of Annie and Sam's wonderful wedding day. There's not doubt about it - he's her lobster! Congratulations to the happy couple!!

Montreal Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer

We visited Montreal in August for a friends destination wedding. I brought along my Contax 645 to take our vacation photos. I haven't been to Montreal since I was very young so I was seeing this beautiful city for the first time. I absolutely loved Montreal and getting to speak the very little (and poor!) french that I know. Thanks Montreal for having us and putting up with my terrible accent. Merci Beaucoup!!

St. Louis Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer

This summer we did a lot of traveling for weddings. I visited Nashville, St. Louis and Montreal for the first time which was so exciting! Before heading to the Lake, we stayed in St. Louis for a few days to do a bit of exploring. The Gateway Arch is by far one of my favorite things on the planet. I was in complete awe of its beauty and totally terrified once we got to the top. Seriously, it's surreal! We had breakfast at Winslow's Home, went paddle boating in Forest Park before heading to the Cardinals baseball game where I caught a foul ball!! On our last day, we stopped by The Pulitzer Foundation to check out the building and Richard Serra sculpture. While we were driving around, I fell in love with all the vintage parking signs and made my husband pull over so I could photograph them. Our last stop in St. Louis was the breathtaking Abby Church. It was one of the most gorgeous churches I have ever been in and totally made of concrete. Happy Travels!
