Martha's Vineyard Wedding at Edgartown Yacht Club

If you have ever spent any time on Martha’s Vineyard, you already know how special it is. I had the pleasure of being part of Courteney and William’s wedding weekend and it was simply incredible.

The Bride and Groom both grew up spending the Summer in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard. William lived across the street from Courteney’s best friend and that’s how they met. After dating long distance for several years, William proposed in Jackson Hole and had her whole family waiting to celebrate the happy news. They decided to get married where it all began, back in Martha’s Vineyard at the Edgartown Yacht Club.

From the couple's dog, Tugboat being featured in their invitations from Happy Menocal, and the Tugboat-inspired groom’s cake, to driving off in William’s grandfather's vintage Mercedes, to their nautical-inspired blue & white details, I’m honored to have been part of their wedding weekend celebrations. I’m so grateful that the incredible wedding planners from Plan It Martha’s Vineyard helped make their wedding day an absolute dream.

Here are some of my favorite photos from their magical day.

Gurney's Montauk Wedding Photos

Montauk is simply a magical place! The ocean, the beach town, the relaxed vibe, and its all beauty really are the perfect backdrop for any couple to fall in love. Chelsea and Ben love the Hamptons and it was really important for them to celebrate their marriage at their favorite location, Gurney’s Montauk Resort and Seawater Spa.

The bride got ready in her private suite at Gurney’s before putting on the most beautiful couture wedding gown from Mira Zwillinger. This incredible Gigi ballgown was covered with Degrade Appliquéd Flowers that looked incredible on the bride to be. Ben and his groomsmen got ready in the Regent Cocktail Club before the couple exchanged their private first look in a hidden location on the edge of the resort. It was so sweet, romantic, and special for the couple to share a few private moments with each other before the pace of the day truly picked up.

AvaFloral created the most stunning coral cascading bridal bouquet for Chelsea. We had so much fun on the beach taking their bride and groom photos and bridal party portraits. The couple held their ceremony outside on the Forward Deck overlooking the ocean just before sunset. One of Ben’s childhood best friends is also a Pastor and they asked him to officiate their wedding which was so special for the couple. As they exchanged vows, laughs, and their first kiss as husband and wife was celebrated with loud cheers of excitement by all of their guests. It was so exciting! Their wedding reception was held in the gorgeous white tent and Atomic Funk Project brought down the house. I absolutely loved being part of Chelsea and Ben’s love story from their engagement, to the wedding, and I know for many years to come. I’m so happy for this wonderful couple to enjoy being married to each other for the rest of their lives! xo

Testimonial from my wonderful couple:

“Working with Jaine was a dream. We first met during our engagement shoot, where she made us feel so comfortable during a bit of an unfamiliar experience. We were laughing the whole way through, and the photos came out fantastic! Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding, Jaine was professional, responsive, and kind. We were lucky to have her as a part of our entire wedding weekend, and she and her team made everyone involved in our wedding feel totally at ease. She is warm-hearted and was extremely organized on our wedding day, which I truly appreciated. We have received "sneak peaks" from our special day and they made us cry all over again. We cannot wait to see our full suite because we know that the photos will be BEYOND gorgeous. Lucky to have met Jaine throughout this process and know we will be in touch for a long time. ” - Chelsea and Ben

Gurneys Montauk Wedding Photos with All Who Wander Events

Is there anything more romantic than getting married in one of the most beautiful places on earth? I didn’t think so either. Jing and Bob fell in love with Montauk and when they got engaged, they knew it was the perfect location for their magical wedding. The couple chose the luxurious Gurney’s Montauk Seawater Resort & Spa to host their weekend celebration!

The couple brought on All Who Wander Events to design, plan, and coordinate their wedding. It was a full weekend away in the Hamptons that started with an intimate rehearsal dinner, followed by their wedding day, and concluding with a goodbye brunch. Nicole, from All Who Wander Events, has incredible style and it was a thrill to be working together again for another spectacular wedding in the Hamptons. The cherry blossoms had just begun to bloom out east and we were lucky enough to have a few trees on the waterfront property to use in their wedding photos.

The bride wore a stunning wedding gown from Pronovias with a long lace train and changed into a second wedding dress during the reception by Berta. Designs by Ahn created the most beautiful, take your breath away, pink, blush, and muted mauve floral arch for the couples wedding ceremony. It was a show stopper! The couple was married on the Forward Deck at Gurney’s that overlooks the ocean officiated by one of their closest friends. It was a moving and meaningful ceremony for the newlyweds! After the ceremony and before cocktail hour began, we went down to the beach for a few sunset photos with our toes in the sand. How gorgeous is Jing’s Berta dress? Stunning!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside before entering the white tented reception space. Silver Arrow Band lit up the dance floor! The couple’s initials were on display on the dance floor in a gold monogram under a hanging flower and light installation from Designs by Ahn. Jing and Bob danced the night away with their closest family and friends. It was so much fun being with them for their wedding weekend and honored to capture this incredible moment in their lives. xo

Tulum and Cancun Mexico Travel Photos

We traveled to Tulum and Cancun Mexico earlier this year. It seems like a lifetime ago but it was only in March. I've never been to Tulum before so it was so lovely to visit this quiet oasis in Mexico. We stayed at the Playa Paraiso Beach Club in Tulum which was exactly what we had hoped for. A small bungalow walking distance to the clear blue ocean. We did have a bit of a seaweed problem on the beach that hindered us from truly enjoying the ocean but we were already going up to Cancun so it wasn't too much of a bummer. In Cancun, we stayed at the Westin Lagunamar which was our second visit to the same hotel. It was so funny because we knew our way around and visited many of the same restaurants we did years ago. However, this time, we were with our daughter Tilly, which made it even more fun & memorable. Can't wait to get our toes back in the sand! xo

St. Louis Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer

This summer we did a lot of traveling for weddings. I visited Nashville, St. Louis and Montreal for the first time which was so exciting! Before heading to the Lake, we stayed in St. Louis for a few days to do a bit of exploring. The Gateway Arch is by far one of my favorite things on the planet. I was in complete awe of its beauty and totally terrified once we got to the top. Seriously, it's surreal! We had breakfast at Winslow's Home, went paddle boating in Forest Park before heading to the Cardinals baseball game where I caught a foul ball!! On our last day, we stopped by The Pulitzer Foundation to check out the building and Richard Serra sculpture. While we were driving around, I fell in love with all the vintage parking signs and made my husband pull over so I could photograph them. Our last stop in St. Louis was the breathtaking Abby Church. It was one of the most gorgeous churches I have ever been in and totally made of concrete. Happy Travels!
