Central Park Wedding Inspiration Shoot at Naumburg Bandshell

Central Park is truly an iconic location in New York City and anyone who visits the park can clearly see why it's one of the top destinations for weddings. You can elope and host a small intimate wedding surrounded by new york city's incredible skyline or rent out the newly renovated Central Park Loeb Boathouse that sits lakeside. I photograph several engagement sessions each year inside the park all year round. Spring and Fall are my favorite times to visit Central Park.

One of my goals for the New Year is to photograph a wedding at The Loeb Boathouse and capture all of New York City's beauty for one of my wonderful couples so when I was asked to join Bloom Bar's styled shoot at the Naumburg Bandshell, I jumped at the chance for a fun wedding inspiration shoot for brides to be. It's fun to collaborate with new and exciting wedding planners, florists, and Brooklyn wedding dress designers. I loved being able to shoot for myself without any pressure of a real wedding day. We hope it inspires you too! xo - Jainé

Conservatory Gardens and Daniel Restaurant Wedding Photos

As most couples know, true love is hard to find so when you find your soulmate even at a young age, you want to hold on to them forever. Neana and Ali are a pair of high school sweethearts who dated long distance (east coast/west coast) while Ali went to medical school and afterwards, began living in a brand new city as a couple. So, when Ali proposed, this west coast couple had an east coast wedding in the place they now call home, New York City. Neana looked simply radiant in her ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier and we all drooled over her pearl and bow heels by Chanel. Their wedding day called for rain so we decided to take their bride and groom portraits inside Grand Central Station.

The beauty of the city really shines through this renovated masterpiece, which happens to be one of Neana's favorite places in all of Manhattan. When we reached the Central Park Conservatory Gardens, the rain stopped and we were able to roam around the garden for some more photos. The happy couple were married underneath the ivy covered pergola in middle of the Conservatory Gardens. Their Persian wedding ceremony was filled with so many wonderful traditions that I had never captured before. Towards the end of the ceremony, the couple is presented a bowl of honey and asked to each dip their pinky into the bowl and feed it to one another. Honey represents the sweetness of life and by doing this, it will bless them to have a happy honeymoon and therefore a sweet marriage. So romantic! After they exchanged their vows, the couple decided to celebrate their marriage with a small intimate reception at Daniel. Treating their family and friends to a decadent feast they will remember for years to come. Neana and Ali are just the sweetest, most thoughtful and one of the most wonderful couples I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. Their wedding was so meaningful, elegant and completely stylish. xo

A Central Park Elopement and Wythe Hotel Wedding

As the sky opened and the rain began pour down in Sydney, Phoebe ran into a bar for cover unknowing that her soon-to-be-husband Luke was sitting at the counter staying out of the rain himself. After a few cocktails and getting to know each other, this would soon become their very first date which would lead up to Luke's proposal a few years later. The Australian couple decided to have an intimate destination wedding in New York City. They invited eleven of their closest family and friends to join them in Central Park and witness them become husband and wife. Phoebe looked absolutely radiant in her white lace cocktail dress and crystal encrusted headpiece from Dolce and Gabbana.

As they held hands, exchanged rings and officially became Mr. and Mrs., there was not a dry eye in the park. Phoebe and Luke surprised their guests, who traveled from Australia, with breathtaking views of NYC on the rooftop of their private reception at Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn. As the summer sunset began to set across the east river, the newlyweds toasted their new marriage with a freshly popped bottle of champagne (champs if you're an aussie ;). I absolutely love small, intimate and romantic weddings and truly enjoyed being part of Phoebe and Luke's gorgeous wedding day. Cheers to the happy couple! xo
